Shipping Information

At The Book Girl Club, every order is carefully prepared and packed in Calgary, Alberta. Please review the information below before placing your order.

Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Please note that some products are made to order and may require additional processing time. Any extended processing times will be noted on the individual product page where applicable.

Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information, where applicable.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Orders are shipped to the exact address entered when the order is placed, so please double-check all details, including apartment, unit or suite numbers, before completing your purchase.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact info.thebookgirlclub@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Address changes can generally be made until the end of the day the order was placed. After this point, your order may already be in processing and changes cannot be guaranteed.

Once an order has been shipped, the shipping address cannot be changed.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

The Book Girl Club is unable to provide a refund or complimentary replacement when an order has been shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer at checkout.

This also applies when a parcel is successfully delivered to the address entered on the order, but the customer later discovers that the address was entered incorrectly.

If this happens, we recommend contacting the local postal carrier as soon as possible, as they may be able to provide additional delivery information or assist with recovering the parcel.

We are always happy to provide any available shipping or tracking information from our end.

Shipping Within Canada

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the shipping service selected.

We ship with multiple providers depending on the services available for your region.

Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has been fulfilled, where applicable.

USA Shipping

Shipping to the United States is available at the rates shown at checkout.

For eligible USA shipping services, duties and import charges are prepaid. This means customers will not be required to pay additional import charges upon delivery for that service.

Delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, customs processing and destination.

International Shipping

We currently ship to select international destinations.

Available shipping services and rates will be displayed at checkout based on your shipping address.

International delivery times may vary depending on the destination, local postal service and customs processing.

For destinations outside Canada and the USA, your order may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, handling fees or other charges imposed by your local authorities.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are not included in your order total and remain the responsibility of the customer.

The Book Girl Club is not responsible for delays caused by customs or local postal authorities.

Local Pickup

Local pickup is available for eligible orders in Calgary.

Once your order is ready, please contact info.thebookgirlclub@gmail.com or reach out via Instagram to arrange a pickup time.

Please wait until your order has been marked as ready before arranging collection.

Pickup is by appointment only.

Delivery Estimates

Any delivery dates or timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only and begin once your order has been shipped.

Carrier delays, weather, customs processing and other circumstances outside of our control may affect delivery times.

Missing or Delayed Orders

If your order has not arrived within 3 weeks of the shipment date, please contact info.thebookgirlclub@gmail.com and we will be happy to review the tracking information and assist where possible.

If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check around the delivery location, with members of your household or neighbours where appropriate, and contact your local postal carrier.

The Book Girl Club will assist with available tracking information or carrier enquiries where possible. However, we cannot guarantee the recovery of a parcel once the carrier has confirmed delivery.

If the parcel was delivered to an incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout, the order will fall under our Incorrect Shipping Addresses policy above.

Return-to-Sender Packages

If a parcel is returned to The Book Girl Club due to:

• an incorrect or incomplete shipping address
• a missing apartment, unit or suite number
• the customer having moved
• delivery refusal
• failure to collect the parcel
• unpaid customs or import charges

a new shipping label must be purchased by the customer before the order can be resent.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For international orders, any additional return shipping charges, customs fees or carrier fees incurred as a result of the parcel being returned may also be the customer's responsibility.
